BH Mat V2
Product USE
Designed for damping metal and removing unwanted vibration from a less than perfect enclosure (your door). The foam layer prevents buzz and rattle from things that touch like wires, door control rods, plastic trim panels, etc. BH Mat V2 is extra wide to cover large doors such as a truck or SUV with one piece.

2mm Butyl The Butyl thickness is increased to 2mm to reduce sound transmission via lowering resonance frequency and improving damping whilst maintaining flexibility.
0.05mm Aluminum The foil is 0.05mm so that it can stretch to conform well to irregular shapes.
3mm Closed-Cell Acoustic Foam The new formula 3mm closed cell foam has improved damping to reduce noise.

BENEFITS
The new foam material naturally repels water, so it does not need to be sealed.
This leaves the foam’s micro cells open to significantly extend the high frequency response and absorption with NRC = 0.95. (Noise reduction coefficient)

The base damping layer is 30% thicker and heavier to lower the resonance and sound transmission of the vehicle’s metal.
The bottom face is automotive grade pressure sensitive adhesive.
